Find the square roots of the following numbers using prime factorisation method 36

SOLUTION :

36 by prime factorisation method gives the factors under root (2*2)*(3*3)

{ here, the numbers which are in the bracket are considered as a whole for example (4*4) when we’ll remove the bracket there will for by a 4 }

= 2*3
= 6 ( ANSWER )

Given: Number 36

To Find : Square root  using prime factorization method 36​

Solution:

         2       36

         2       18

         3        9

         3        3

                   1

36 = 2 * 2 * 3 * 3

= 2² * 3²

= ( 2 * 3)²

=  6²

√36 = √6²  = 6

√36  = 6
