One factor is 1 and the other is the number itself. Multiplying these numbers together, we get 20. Hence, 20 is the square root of 400.

Answer:

See it is very easy

Prime Factorisation of 400 is 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5

then u count how many numbers are there

There are only numbers of 2 and 5 only

Now see how many times the number ''2'' occurs- 4 times

Now see how many times ''5'' occurs- 2 times

Now for to find square root we consider 2 times any number repeated

So 2 occurs 4 times

Thus

2x2x2x2

So 2 will be considered 2 times as in the terms of 2 it occurs 2 times

So 2 x 2

Then we will see how many times 5 occurs

So it occurs 2 times during prime factorisation

So we will take 5 only 1 times

Note:- When there will be 2 times any number then we will take one of it

So now, we have

2 x 2 x 5= 20
