Question :- find the sum 16/23 and -17/46 by their difference ?

Solution :-

→ (16/23) + (-17/46)

we know that,

  • (+) + (-) = (-)

→ (16/23) - (17/46)

taking LCM of denominators,

→ (16 * 2 - 17 * 1)/46

→ (32 - 17) / 46

(15/46) (Ans.)

therefore, sum of (16/23) and (-17/46) by their difference is (15/46) .
