Answer:

11/12

Step-by-step explanation:

what we have is

2/4 & 5/12

we have to add it ,

for adding these two ,

first we will take out their L.C.M ( least common multiple )

remember ; - we will take the L.C.M of the denominators ,

i.e. 4 & 12

the L.C.M of 4 & 12  = 12

so ,

according to question ,

2/4 * 3 / 3 = 6 / 12

(multiplying numerator and denominator , with same number to get the same denominators of both the terms . )

no change with 5/12

( as the denominator of 5/12 is 12 )

adding both the terms

6/12 +5/12 = 11/ 12

here is the answer

hope it helped
