$6x^{2} - 5x - 6 \: with \: ax^{2} + bx + c , we \:get$

$a = 6 , b = - 5 \:and \: c = -6$

$i) Sum \:of \: the \: zeroes$

$= \frac{-b}{a}$

$= \frac{ -(-5)}{6}$

$= \frac{5}{6}$

$ii) Product \:of \: the \: zeroes$

$= \frac{c}{a}$

$= \frac{ -6}{6}$

$= -1$

$b) Compare \: given \: Quadratic \: polynomial$

$x^{2} - 5x + 6 \: with \: ax^{2} + bx + c , we \:get$

$a = 1 , b = - 5 \:and \: c = 6$

$i) Sum \:of \: the \: zeroes$

$= \frac{-b}{a}$

$= \frac{ -(-5)}{1}$

$= 5$

$ii) Product \:of \: the \: zeroes$

$= \frac{c}{a}$

$= \frac{ 6}{6}$
