Given : x² - (c - ab)x - abc

To Find :  sum and product of the zeroes

Solution:

polynomial px² + qx  + r

Sum of zeroes = - q/p

Product of zeroes =  r/p

Comparing with  x² - (c - ab)x - abc

p = 1 ,   q  = - (c - ab)  , r = - abc

Sum of zeroes = - ( - (c - ab)) /1  = c - ab

Product of zeroes =  r/p  = -abc/1  = - abc

Sum of zeroes = c - ab

Product of zeroes =  - abc
