 a) Compare \: given \: Quadratic \: polynomial

 6x^{2} - 5x - 6 \: with \: ax^{2} + bx + c , we \:get

 a = 6 , b = - 5 \:and \: c = -6

 i) Sum \:of \: the \: zeroes

 = \frac{-b}{a}

 = \frac{ -(-5)}{6}

 = \frac{5}{6}

 ii) Product \:of \: the \: zeroes

 = \frac{c}{a}

 = \frac{ -6}{6}

 = -1

 b) Compare \: given \: Quadratic \: polynomial

 x^{2} - 5x + 6 \: with \: ax^{2} + bx + c , we \:get

 a = 1 , b = - 5 \:and \: c = 6

 i) Sum \:of \: the \: zeroes

 = \frac{-b}{a}

 = \frac{ -(-5)}{1}

 = 5

 ii) Product \:of \: the \: zeroes

 = \frac{c}{a}

 = \frac{ 6}{6}

 = 1
