AnsWer :

  • Sum of Zeros be 4
  • Product of Zeros be 3.

Solution :

We have, Equation.

=> x² - 4x + 3.

=> x² - 3x - x + 3.

=> x( x - 3 ) - 1 ( x - 3 )

=> ( x - 1 ) ( x - 3 )

\rule{90}1

Either,

=> x - 1 = 0.

=> x = 1.

\rule{90}1

Or,

=> x - 3 = 0.

=> x = 3.

Let,

  • A = 3.
  • B = 1.

\rule{90}1

Sum of Zeros,

=> A + B = -b/a

=> 3 + 1 = -( - 4 )/1

=> 4 = 4.

\rule{90}1

Product of Zeros,

=> A * B = c/a

=> 3 * 1 = 3/1

=> 3 = 3.

Therefore, the sum of zeros be 4. and product of zeros be 3.
