✳ Find the sum and product of the zeroes of the polynomial x²-5x+6.

\mathcal{\huge{\underline{\underline{\green{AnSWeR:-}}}}}

According to the question,

x² - 5x + 6

Factorising,

=> x² - 2x - 3x + 6

=> x(x-2) - 3(x-2)

=> (x-2) (x-3)

=> x = 2 or x = 3

α = 2 , β = 3

Sum of the zeros of the polynomial :-

α+β

=2+3

= 5

Product of the zeros of the polynomial :-

αβ

=2×3

=6
