In this chapter, we have two formulae:-

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a}

And

 \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}

From here, we have:-

1. 3x² - x - 4

Let the zeros be alpha and beta

Then,

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - 3}{ - 1}  = 3

And...

 \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{ - 4}{3}

These are the two answers for the first equation.

I think now anyone would be able to solve for the second one with the very same method.
