Solution :

Compare given Quadratic expression 3x²-3√2x+1 with

ax²+bx+c, we get

a = 3 , b = -32 , c = 1

i ) sum of the zeroes

= -b/a

= -(-32)/3

= 2

ii) Product of the zeroes =c/a

= 1/3

The sum of zeros of polynomial is \sqrt{2} and the product of zeros of the polynomial is \frac{1}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Polynomial 3x^2-3\sqrt2x+1

To find : The sum and product of polynomial ?

Solution :

Comparing polynomial with quadratic equation general form ax^2+bx+c

Here, a=3, b=-3\sqrt2 and c=1

The sum of zeros of the polynomial is given by,

\alpha+\beta=-\frac{b}{a}

\alpha+\beta=-\frac{-3\sqrt2}{3}

\alpha+\beta=\sqrt2

The product of zeros of the polynomial is given by,

\alpha\beta=\frac{c}{a}

\alpha\beta=\frac{1}{3}

Therefore, the sum of zeros of polynomial is \sqrt{2} and the product of zeros of the polynomial is \frac{1}{3}
