Answer:
8x² - 18x - 5
Now we can use the middle splitting term for this equation we have ,
8x² - 20x + 2x - 5
4x(2x - 5) +1 (2x - 1)
FROM THIS WE HAVE TWO ZEROS OF THIS POLYNOMIAL THAT IS ,
2x - 5 = 0
2x = 5
x = 5/2
AND
4x + 1 = 0
4x = -1
x = -1/4
Now ,
Sum of zeros = 5/2 + ( -1/4 )
= 9/4
Product of zeros = 5/2 × ( -1/4 )
= -5/8
