SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

The sum and products of its zeroes of the polynomial

f(x) = 2x² - 5x - 12

CONCEPT TO BE IMPLEMENTED

If the Sum of zeroes and Product of the zeroes of a quadratic polynomial is given then the quadratic polynomial is

 \sf{ {x}^{2}  -(Sum  \: of \:  the \: zeroes )x +  Product \:  of  \: the \:  zeroes }

EVALUATION

Here the given polynomial is

f(x) = 2x² - 5x - 12

So

Sum of the zeroes = - ( - 5/2) = 5/2

Product of the Zeros = - 12/2 = 6
