We have polynomial p ( x ) = 2 x - 5 x - 14 x + 8
We know relationship between zeros and coefficient of cubic polynomial is As:
Sum of Zeros = -
Coefficient of x2Coefficient of x3
And
Product of Zeros = -
Constant termCoefficient of x3
So,
Sum of Zeros = --52 = 52
And
Product of Zeros = -82 = - 4

Answer:

sum of zeroes = -7/2

product of zeroes=3

Step-by-step explanation:

2(x^2-3)x

multiply 2 with (x^2-3):-

2x^2-6+x

2x^2+x-6

Trinomial factorization :-

2x^2+4x-3x-6

(2x^2=4x)(-3x-6)

2x(x+2)-3(x+2)

(2x-3) (x+2)

2x-3=0

  2x=-3

  x=-3/2

x+2=0

 x=-2

sum of zeroes:-

\alpha +\beta

(-3/2) + -2= (-3-4)/2

= -7/2

product of zeroes:-

\alpha \beta

-3/2 × -2 = 6/2

= 3

hope it helps !!
