First term = 3
Common ratio = second term / first term

which equals
 \frac{6}{3}  = 2

The nth term in a GP equals,
 {ar}^{n - 1}
Where a is the first term.
and r is the common ratio

Therefore,

The 8th term here will be,

(3 ){(2)}^{(8 - 1)}  \\  = 3( {2)}^{7}  \\  = 3 \times 128 \\  = 384.

Therefore the required 8th term here is 384.
