a + b+ c+ d = 360°

To Find:

a+ b +c + d

Solution:

From the figure

a+60° = 180°

a = 180° - 60°

a = 120°

b = 60° ( alternate interior angles)

c = 75° ( corresponding angles)

d = 105° ( alternate interior angles)

a + b+ c+ d

= 120° + 60° + 75° + 105°

= 360°

∴ The sum of a, b, c and d is 360°
