Question : Find the sum of additive inverse of 7 and it's multiplicative inverse.

Let x be a number, it's additive inverse is given by -x and multiplicative inverse is given by 1/x .

Now, Additive inverse of 7 is - ( 7 ) = -7 .

Multiplicative inverse of 7 = 1/7



As per the question,

Sum of Additive inverse & Multiplicative inverse = -7 + 1/7 = -49+ 1 / 7 = -48/7
