Sum of the Arithmetic progression  

Whereas n = number of terms, a = first term and l = last term.

n =16 , a = 2, l = 34

S_{16} = \frac{16}{2} [2+34]

    = 8 × 36

    = 288

∴ The sum of all even numbers between 1 to 35 is 288 .
