Multiples of 5 between 100 and 1000 are 105, 110, 115,......995

Here,

a=105

d=5

an=995

We know that,

an=a+(n-1)d

=>995=105+(n-1)5

=>(n-1)5=995-105

=>n-1=890/5

=>n=175+1

=>n=176

Sn=176/2(2×105+175×5)

=88(210+875)

=88×1085

=95480
