first term A = 252

common difference D = 6

let number term is N.

formula-

L = A + ( N - 1 ) D

996= 252+ ( N -1 ) 6

996-252= ( N - 1 ) 6

744= ( N - 1 ) 6

744/6= N - 1

124= N - 1

124+ 1= N

N= 125

Then their Sum

S = N/2[ A + L]
