Find the sum of an ap of 14 terms whose first and last terms are 8 and 99 respectively

Here ,

First term ( a ) = 8

last term ( l ) = 99

No. of terms ( n ) = 14

Formula Used = S(n) = n /2 × ( a + l )

Putting values in the formula ,

we get,

14 / 2 × ( 8 + 99 ) i.e. 749.

Hence, The required sum is 749.
