area is 0.55 m = 55 cam
h = 11 cm
1/2( sum of bases) *h = 55
1/2(sum of bases)*11=55
sum of bases = (55*2)/11= 11 cut by 55 comes 5
so sum = 5*2=10

The sum of base of that trapezium whose perpendicular is 11 cm is 10 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Height of trapezium = 11 cm = 0.11 m

Area of trapezium =\frac{1}{2} (\text{Sum of parallel sides}) \times height

                              =\frac{1}{2} (\text{Sum of parallel sides}) \times 0.11

Area is 0.55 square metre

So,\frac{1}{2} (\text{Sum of parallel sides}) \times 11 = 0.55

\text{Sum of parallel sides}= \frac{0.55 \times 2}{0.11}

\text{Sum of parallel sides}=10 m

Hence the sum of base of that trapezium whose perpendicular is 11 cm is 10 m
