SOLUTION

The first 125 even natural numbers are - 2 , 4 , 6 , .............. 250 .

This forms an AP whose ,

First Term of the AP (a) = 2

Common Difference (d) = 2

Last Term (an) = 250

Total Number of Terms (n) = 125

SUM of The AP

Sum of the AP ,

\sf S(n) = \dfrac{n}{2} (a+an)

\sf S(n) = \dfrac{125}{2} (2+250)

\sf S(n) = \dfrac{125}{2} * 252

\sf S(n) = 125* 126

∴ Sum of first 125 even natural numbers = 125 × 126 = 15750
