an = 149

d= ?

n = 22

S22 = ?

the value of d is

a+ ( n-1)d = an

7+(22-1) d = 149

7+21d = 149

21d = 149-7

d = 142 /21

d = 7

the shm of 22 th term is

Sn = n/2 + [2a + ( n-1) d]

22/2 + [ 2×7 + (22-1) 7]

= 11 + 14 + 147

= 172

the sum of 22 term is 172 .
