We have

First 3 multiples of 3 are,

3, 6, 9

So, their sum

= 3 + 6 + 9

= 9 + 9

= 18

Also,

By AP

a = 3 , l = 9

so, sum of 3 terms

= n /2 (a +l)

= 3 /2 (12)

=3 x 6

=18

Similarly you can continue for first 8 multiple.
