♦ Well the question ask us to find out the sum of the Integers divisible by 5 from 1 to 50 .

♦ First it all we will find out the Integer between 1 - 50 which are divisible by 5

>> Integers divisible by 5

5 , 10 , 15 , 20 , 25 , 30 , 35 , 40 , 45 and 50

♦ Now we will take 5 as a common for adding them .

>> 5( 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 ... + 10)

♦ So , Now we have to find and multiply the sum of 1 to 10 with 5

♦ Formula required for sum of 1 to 10

>> Sum of n numbers starting from 1

=  \dfrac{n(n+1)}{2}

♦ So by substituting 10 in place of "n"

=  \dfrac{10(10+1)}{2}

=  \dfrac{10(11)}{2}

=  \dfrac{110}{2}

= 55

♦ Now as we have got the sum of 1 to 10 , Now we will multiply it by 5 to get required Answer .

= 5(55)

= 5 × 55

= 275
