The numbers between 200 and 400 that are divisible by 4 are

204,208,............,396

here first term = 204

common difference = 208-204= 4

last term = 396

that is

a + (n-1)d = 396

=>204 + (n-1)4 = 396

=>(n-1)4 = 92

=>n-1 = 23

=>n = 24

so number of terms is 24

so the sum of the numbers is

= 24/2(204+396)

= 24/2(600)

= 24 (300)= 7200

Answer:

the total no. which are divisible by 4 between 200 and 400 are

200,204,208.........400

a=200

d=a2-a1

d=204-200

d=4

total terms in AP = (last)^th term

a +(n-1)d= 400

200+4n-4=400

4n=204

n=51

now sum of 51 terms

n{2a+ (n-1)d}/2

51 {2×200 + 50×4}/2

51×600/2

51×300

15300
