199= 1+(y-1)✖2
198=2(y-1)
y-1=198➗2=99
y=1+99=100
S= 100/2 {1+199}
=100/2 ✖200
=10000

The series of odd positive integers between 1 and 199 will be in A.P ;
3,5,7,9,11.............193,195,197
a = 3
d = 2
l = 197
l = a+(n-1)d
197 = 3+(n-1)2
n-1 = 97
n = 98
Sum ;
= n/2(a+l)
= 98/2 (3+197)
= 49×200
= 9800
