find the sum of
p²-7pq-q² and 3p²-2pq + 7q²

Answer:

(p² - 7pq - q²) + (3p² - 2pq + 7q²)

= p² - 7pq - q² + 3p² - 2pq + 7q²

= p² + 3p² -7pq - 2pq -q² + 7q²

= 4p² -9pq +6q²
