ChronosEye: Basically what he did was. He placed all the correct signs in order as ( + ) positive multiply ( - ) negative gives ( - ) negative and so 1/4 - 5/6 - 7/15. Now using the LCM Method you can make their denomenators same and then place it all in the correct and order and directly subtract and you shall get the answer as -63/60.

Answer:

-23/30 (I know i did the wrong question, i misunderstood your question).

Step-by-step explanation:

1/4 divided by -5/6 = 7/-15 = (Use PEDMAS/BODMAS rule) = the rule states that division comes first. We cannot divide both of these fraction and hence we should take their reciprocal and put the multiplication sign which is  going to be  = 1/4 x -6/5 = -3/10. Now you have to add -3/10 and 7/-15 by making their denomenators same and that will be by using LCM method which is (-9)+ (-14) divided by 30 = -23/30.
