Additive inverse means a number which when added with the orginal number makes them zero.

Additive inverse of 4/9 is -4/9

Additive inverse of -2/3 is 2/3

Now, add the both additive inverse numbers

=> -4/9 +2/3

LCM of 9 & 3 is 9

=> -4+2*3/9

=>-4+6/9

=> 2/9

Therefore,the sum of the additive inverse of 4/9 and -2/3 is 2/9
