a2=-8
d=a2-a1
-8-(-5)
-8+5
-3
so d= -3

here given,,
Tn=-230
a=-5
d=-3
n=?
We know that,
Tn=a+(n-1)d
-230=-5+(n-1)(-3)
-230=-5+(-3n+3)
-230=-5+3n+3
-230=-2+3n
-230+2=3n
3n=-228
n=-76
now,
Sn=n/2(a+Tn)
=-76/2(-5-230)
=-38(-235)
Total of APs = 8930 ans
