In The AP 12,16,20 And 18,24,30

24,36,48 are common terms

Sn=n/2{ 2a +(n-1)d}

n=50

Sn=?

d=36-24=12

a=24

Sn=50/2{ 2*24+(50-1)12}

Sn=25(48+49*12)

Sn=25(636)

Sn=15900

Answer:

15900.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Arithmetic Progressions:

12, 16, 20,.... and 18, 24, 30,...

We see that:

24,36,48 are common terms

Using the Formula:

Sn=n/2{ 2a +(n-1)d}

n=50

To Find,

Sum of first 50 common terms.

d=36-24=12

a=24

Sn=50/2{ 2*24+(50-1)12}

Sn=25(48+49*12)

Sn=25(636)

Sn=15900

Hence, the answer is 15900.
