  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

      Given data:- \frac{3}{8}+\frac{1}{8}

      To find:- value of the given expression.

     Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  • Adding the numerators over the denominators.

       So, apply  the above rules we get,

          =\frac{3}{8}+\frac{1}{8}\\=\frac{3\times1+1\times1}{8} \\=\frac{3+1}{8} \\=\frac{4}{8}\\=\frac{1}{2}.

   Hence the final value will be \frac{1}{2}.
