Find the sum of the following Arithmetic series:
1+ 8 + 15 + 22 + 29 + 36 + ..................... to 17 terms

d = 8-1 = 7

17th term = a + (17-1)d

               = 1 + 16 × 7

               = 1 + 112

               = 113

Now sum = \frac{n}{2}( a + l)     where l is last term = 113

                 = \frac{17}{2}( 113 + 1 )

                 = \frac{17}{2}( 114 )

                 = 17 × 57

                 = 969

SO THE FINAL ASNWER IS 969
