a=51

d=1

an=92

n=?

an=a+(n-1)d

92=51+(n-1)1

n-1=92-51

n=41+1

n = 42

a.= 51, d = 52-51 = 1

an= 92

as we know that

an= a+(n-1)d

51+(n-1)1 = 92

n-1= 92-51 = 41

n= 41+1 = 42

no. of terms are42

sum of the series

Sn= n/2[a+an] = n/2[first term + last term]

S42 = 42/2[51+92] = 21[143]

S42 =3003
