\bold\orange{\underline{Given:}}

Simple interest=Rs.900

Rate=6%

Time=3 years

The sum be P

\bold\purple{\underline{Solution:}}

Using formula for sum here

\bold\purple{\boxed{P=\frac{SI*100}{R*T}}}

⟹P=900×100/6*3

⟹P=100×50

⟹P=5000

Given,in the question that if rate is 8% and time is 2years than simple interest=?

SI=P×T×R/100

⟹SI=5000×2×8/100

⟹SI=50×2×8

⟹SI=800

Hence,

The sum=Rs.5000

The simple interest=Rs.800
