SOLUTION :

Surface area = 4πr²

➨Surface area = 4 × 22/7 × (1.4)²

➨ Surface area = 24.64 cm²

Hence, the surface area of sphere is 24.64 cm².

Volume of the sphere = 4/3 πr³

➨ Volume of the sphere = 4/3 × 22/7 × (1.4)³

➨ Volume of sphere = 11.5 cm³

Hence, the Volume of sphere is 11.5 cm³.

1).area of surface area of sphere = 4πr2

= 4 × 3.14 × (1.4)²

= 12.56 × 1.96

= 24.6176

so the surface area of sphere is 24.61 cm² approximately.

2). volume of sphere = V=4/3 ×πr3

v = 4/3 × 3.14 × (1.4)³

v = 4/3 × 3.14 × 2.744

v = 4/3 × 8.61616

V = 11.4882133333

so the volume of sphere is 11.48 cm³ approximately.
