the volume = 6x2x2x cm sq.= 24 cm sq
Surface area of the cuboid
= 2 (lb + bh + hl)
= 2 ( 6cm × 2cm + 2cm × 2cm + 2cm ×
6cm)
= 2 ( 12cm2 + 4cm2 + 12cm2)
= 2 × 28cm2
= 56cm2
Thus, the surface area of the resulting cuboid is 56 cm2.
