area of circle = 4πr²

therefore, 4 * 22/7 * 14²

=4 * 22/7 * 196

=4 * 616

=2464

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of a sphere is 14 cm.

Surface area of a sphere = 4π(r) ^2 sq. unit

 = 4\pi {r}^{2}  \:  \:  \:  \: sq.unit

 = 4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 \times 14 \:  \:  \:  \:  {cm}^{2}

 = 4 \times 22 \times 14  \times 2 \:  \:  \:  {cm}^{2}

 = 2464 \:  \:  \:  \:  {cm}^{2}

The surface area of a sphere is 2464 sq. c.m
