Solution :- Given that ,

length =16cm ,

breadth =8cm,

heigh =6cm

Now ,

The surface area of the chalk box is

2(lb + bh + hl)2(lb+bh+hl)

2(16 \times 8 + 8 \times 6 + 6 + 16)2(16×8+8×6+6+16)

2(128 + 48 + 96)2(128+48+96)

2 \times 2722×272

544 \: {cm}^{2}544cm

2

Answer:

Given-length=10cm, breadth =6cm, height 3cm

Note-Chalk box is cuboid in shape so formula for cuboid

Surface area=2(lb+bh+hl)

Putting the values in formula

SA=2(10×6+6×3+3×10)

=2(60+18+30)

=2×108

=216cm^2
