Given:-

  • Volume is 1331cm³

To find:-

  • The surface area

Solution:-

Let the edge of the cube be a

Volume of a cube = a × a × a

1331= a × a × a

11 =a ( as 1331 is the cube of  11 )

Therefore ,

Edge of a cube is 11 cm

Volume of cube = 1331 cm³

(Side)³ = 1331

Side = (11 × 11 × 11)1/3 = 11cm

  • Surface area of cube is 726 cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • Volume of cube is 1331 m³.

To find:-

  • Surface area of cube.

Solution:-

Here, Concept is : First we will find edge of cube using volume of cube because for surface area we need edge of cube.

Volume of cube = a³

Where, a is edge of cube.

So, Put the volume in formula:

➜ 1331 = a³

➜ ∛1331 = a

a = 11

Edge of cube is 11 m.

Now,

We know,

Surface area of cube = 6 a²

Put a is formula:

➜ 6 × (11)²

➜ 6 × 121

➜ 726

Therefore,

Surface area of cube is 726 cm².
