volume \: of \: cube = (side) {}^{3}  \\ 512m {}^{3}  = side {}^{3}  \\  \sqrt[3]{512m {}^{3} }  = side \\ side = 8m

Surface area of the cube :

 = 6(side) {}^{2}  \\  = 6(8m) {}^{2}  \\  = 6(64m {}^{2} ) \\  = 384m {}^{2}
