Find the surface area of a cuboid having length 15 cm, breadth 5 cm and height 6

Solution

  • T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl)
  • T.S.A = 2((15)(5) + (5)(6) + (6)(15))
  • T.S.A = 2((75) + (30) + (90)
  • T.S.A = 2(195)
  • T.S.A = 390

Hence, the surface area of T.S.A of cuboid is 390 cm²

  • Length of diagonal = √l² + b² + h²
  • Diagonal = √15² + 5² + 6²
  • Diagonal = √225 + 25 + 36
  • Diagonal = √286
  • Diagonal = 16.91

Hence, the length of diagonal of cuboid is 16.91 cm
