Given:-

  • Base radius of a cylinder = 14 cm
  • Height of a cylinder = 28 cm

To find:-

  • Surface area of a cylinder.

Solution:-

Here,

  • Radius (r) = 14 cm
  • Height (h) = 28 cm

Surface area = 2πr(r + h)

⇛ 2 × 22/7 × 14(14 + 28)

⇛ 2 × 22 × 2 × 42

3696 cm²

Hence,

  • the surface area of a cylinder is 3696 cm².

Radius = 14cm

Height = 28cm

 \small \fcolorbox {green}{yellow}{Surface\: area\: of\: Cylinder\: = \:2πr(r+h)}

Surface area of given Cylinder = 2π×14(14+28)

= 2×(22/7)×14×(42)

= (44)×2×42

= 88× 42

= 3696 cm sq.
