The surface area of a cylinder is 770m^{2}

Given:- Height of cylinder=3.5m

Lateral surface area=308m^{2}

To find:- Surface area of cylinder

Formula used:- Surface area of cylinder=2πr (h + r)

where r=radius of cylinder

h=height of cylinder

Solution:-

Lateral surface area=308

2πrh=308

2*\frac{22}{7}*r*3.5=308

\frac{22}{7}*7*r=308

22r=308

r=\frac{308}{22}

r=14m

Surface area=2πr (h + r)

=2*\frac{22}{7}*14(3.5+14)

=44*17.5

=770

Surface area=770m^{2}

The surface area of a cylinder is 770m^{2}
