Given ,base of a piece of metal which is in the form of parallelogram = 10 cm

height of given metal piece which is in the form of parallelogram = 6.4 cm

since , we have given height and base of given parallelogram shaped metal piece.
then

Find surface area of given parallelogram
_______________________________
Area = base × height

= 10 × 6.4

= 64 cm^2

therefore ,

surface area of the piece of metal which is in the form of parallelogram
= 64 cm^2

extra :
(1) a parallelogram is a four sided quadrilateral having opposite sides are congruent .

(2) the opposite angles of a parallelogram are also congruent.

(3) consecutive angles of parallelogram are supplementary whose

sum ( angle 1 + angle2 ) = 180°

(4) if one angle of a parallelogram is right angle (90°) then it's other angles will also be right (90°).
