Volume of sphere = 4/3×22/7×r^3 = 38808.
from that we get r=21
And by applying SA of sphere i.e, 4×22/7×r^2
So, 4×22/7×21^2
= 5544

Answer:

The surface area of a sphere is S=11890\ cm^2 = 11890\times 10^{-4}\ m^2=1.189\ m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Volume of the sphere, V=38808\ \pi \ cm^3.

The volume of the sphere is defined as

V=\dfrac 43 \pi r^3.

where,

  • r is the radius of the sphere.

Since, the volume is given to be 38808\ \pi \ cm^3, therefore,

\dfrac 43 \pi r^3 = 38808\ \pi \ cm^3\\r^3 = \dfrac{38808\ \pi}{\dfrac 43 \pi}=\dfrac{38808\times 3}{4}=29106\\\Rightarrow r=(29106)^{1/3} = 30.76\ cm.

Now, the surface area of the sphere is defined as

A=4\pi r^2

On putting the value of radius,

A=4\pi \times (30.76)^2=11890\ cm^2.

It is the required surface area of the sphere.
