Given

  • Side of cube = 5cm

To find

  • Total surface area
  • Lateral surface area

Solution

As we know that

→ Total surface area of a cube

→ 6a²

→ 6 × (5)²

→ 6 × 25

→ 150cm²

Now, Lateral surface area of cube

→ 4a²

→ 4 × (5)²

→ 4 × 25

→ 100cm²

Hence,

  • Total surface area of cube = 150cm²
  • Lateral surface area of cube = 100cm²

\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Answer:-}}}}

We know that:

Total surface area of the cube = 6(edge)²

\huge{\boxed{\rm{\red{Given:-}}}}

side = 5 cm

So, = 6(5)²

6 × 25

150 cm²

We also know that:-

Lateral surface area of the cube = 4(edge)²

Given, side = 5 cm

So, = 4(5)²

4 × 25

100 cm²

Therefore, the Total Surface Area of the given cube is 150 cm² and the Lateral Surface area of the cube is 100cm²
