Answer:

Given length, breadth and height of the cuboid = 12cm, 10cm, 0.08m. Now convert 0.08m into cm , i.e 1m is 100cm, 0.08m is (0.08×100)= 8cm. Hence the length, breadth , and height of the cuboid = 12cm, 10cm, 8cm. T.S.A of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl) .lb = 12×10= 120cm^2, bh= 10×8= 80cm^2 and hl= 12×8=96cm^2. Now ,2( 120+80+96) cm^2= 592cm^2. i.e to make 1 box it needs 592cm^2, to make 500such boxes, we need= 296,000cm^2 area of the cardboard. Here in m^2, we get 296000/10000m^2. = 29.6m^2, Hope this helps you.
